AI gun detection system links cameras to alert authorities

ST. LOUIS – A new artificial intelligence security system, partly-developed in St. Louis, can allegedly spot an active shooter before that person can even fire a shot. FOX 2 News put the system to the test to demonstrate how it works.

Hackett Security of St. Louis has partnered with Scylla, an AI company based in Austin, Texas, on a system that integrates AI with security cameras to identify weapons and instantly alert authorities.
