ST. LOUIS — A St. Louis woman was sentenced to 13 years in prison after she admitted to shooting and killing her longtime friend earlier this year.
Bessie Thomas, 47, pleaded guilty Friday to voluntary manslaughter and armed criminal action in connection with the shooting death of 36-year-old Rita Williams.
