Man pleads guilty to hitting motorcyclist with car back in 2024

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A man pleaded guilty Friday afternoon for his involvement in a serious car crash in University City.

Tyreece Staten, 36, pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a gun while being a felon, and leaving the scene of an accident.

Court documents said that on April 24, 2024, Staten struck a motorcyclist with his car at the intersection of Woodson and Richard Avenues, breaking the victim’s bones and leaving him nearly paralyzed. The suspect then fled the scene…
