ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis woman was sentenced Friday after she admitted to fatally shooting her longtime friend during a fight in a car.
Bessie Thomas, 47, pleaded guilty Friday to charges of voluntary manslaughter and armed criminal action in an agreement with prosecutors, according to the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office. She was sentenced to 13 years in prison after her guilty plea.
