ST. LOUIS – One man is in custody for gunning down an acquaintance late Saturday night in the city’s Baden neighborhood.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department’s probable cause statement, the shooting happened around 11 p.m. in the 8400 block of Gast Place near Hornsby Avenue.
Police arrived at the scene and found the victim lying on the ground outside a residence. The man was suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest and rushed to the hospital. He was pronounced dead hours later. The victim’s identity has not been released.
