Woman with ties to ex-St. Louis mayor pleads guilty in federal court

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A local woman with close ties to ex-St. Louis Mayor Tishaura Jones’ family pleaded guilty Tuesday to federal wire fraud charges for improperly taking more than $1.7 million in pandemic relief funds from the US Government.

Cory Elliott is a St. Louis-based contractor whose companies have received numerous city contracts and grants over the last several years.
