Teen Crashes Grocery Cart Into Parked Truck During Stunt in Bridgeton Parking Lot

BRIDGETON, MISSOURI — A group of teens gathered in a shopping center parking lot over the weekend, and one of their stunts went wrong when a teen riding a grocery cart downhill crashed into a parked pickup truck, according to footage shared online.

Video Captures Reckless Parking Lot Stunt

The viral video, originally posted by New Realst1 News, shows a group of teens cheering as one of them launches down a slope inside a grocery cart. The joyride ends abruptly when the cart hits a curb, flipping and slamming into a parked pickup truck. Witnesses can be heard gasping as the teen tumbles out of the cart.

While the video cuts off shortly after the crash, witnesses said the teen avoided serious injury. The truck, however, appeared to suffer visible damage.

No Injuries Reported, But Officials Warn of Dangers

Authorities have not confirmed whether police were called to the scene, but locals who saw the video say the stunt highlights a growing problem — reckless behavior in parking lots, often recorded for social media views.

Thankfully, no medical treatment was required for the teen involved, according to the post. However, safety advocates note that such stunts can easily end in serious head or spinal injuries
