Former Windsor C-1 employee accused of domestic assault

A former Windsor C-1 School District paraprofessional allegedly attacked and threatened to kill a woman in her Olivette home after a relationship between the two ended. Windsor Superintendent Jason King said a staff member identified as Alexander Julian, 21, of Barnhart was arrested Wednesday, Nov. 5, at Windsor Middle School and will no longer be employed by the district.

“This matter did not involve any school students or personnel,” King said. “This morning (Nov. 5), the Windsor C-1 School District was notified by law enforcement that a Windsor C-1 staff member was identified as a person of interest in a matter unrelated to the school district. Upon notification, the individual was taken into custody shortly thereafter at Windsor Middle School. At no time were any students or staff in the vicinity of, involved in, or placed at risk during this process.”

On Thursday, Nov. 6, Julian was charged in St. Louis County with two counts of third-degree domestic assault, class E felonies that are each punishable by up to four years in prison; unlawful use of a weapon, also a class E felony; and armed criminal action, an unclassified felony that carries a penalty of three to 15 years in prison, according to court documents…
