A Granite City man will spend 18 years behind bars after he stole a car with two kids inside. 22-year-old George Garcia-Flores pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular hijacking in Madison County Court this week. The girls in the car at the time, ages 9 and 1, were not injured.
Prosecutors say Garcia-Flores got into the car outside a Granite City retail business back in July while the owner was out of the car, but the two children were still inside. He drove away a short distance, then ordered the kids out of the car. A bystander helped the…..
