ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – Officials give an update on St. Louis City’s tornado siren repair.
A release sent in connection with the Mayor’s Office, St. Louis Fire Department, and the Board of Public Service said that in the nearly six months since the May 16 tornadoes, work has been done to assess and fix sirens across the city.
On May 20, the Mayor issued Executive Order 83 regarding the function of the sirens. In July, this was furthered by surveying all of the 60 sirens that span the city. This survey was done to determine if there were sirens not working or facing specific issues, and to fix them…
