St. Louis man accused of stealing Bobcat at construction site

UNIVERSITY CITY, Mo. – A St. Louis man is in custody after police say he allegedly stole a commercial Bobcat that was parked at a construction site.

According to the University City Police Department, the theft happened during the evening of July 13 near University City High School’s football field. Police say Jamie White was caught on surveillance camera observing the Bobcat, which was owned by Buchheit Concrete.

White and another individual later returned to the construction site — this time to allegedly steal the compact trailer. Court records say White used his truck and a stolen tractor-trailer to take the bobcat.
