St. Louis church pantry hit by thefts, jeopardizing Thanksgiving food giveaway

ST. LOUIS — A St. Louis church food pantry is scrambling to serve hundreds of families for Thanksgiving after a series of break-ins last week left its shelves nearly bare.

The St. Luke Memorial Missionary Baptist Food Pantry was broken into three times, with thieves making off with more than $4,000 worth of food and clothing.
