Barge hits Eads Bridge in St. Louis, no injuries reported

ST. LOUIS – A barge struck Eads Bridge on Friday afternoon in St. Louis. No injuries were reported from the collision.

The U.S. Coast Guard tells FOX 2 that one barge on the Mississippi River struck the Eads Bridge around 2:45 p.m. Friday.

The Coast Guard confirmed there were “no injuries” and “no pollution” from the collision. The Coast Guard added “there are no current obstructions or closures of the waterway” as of 4:15 p.m. Friday…
