St. Louis, MO – Over the weekend, St. Louis Metropolitan Police conducted an enforcement sweep targeting illegal minibike activity near North 13th Street and Cass Avenue, resulting in multiple citations and vehicle seizures.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, Mobile Reserve officers spotted several minibikes being operated unlawfully on city streets. In total, six riders were detained, all issued citations, and their minibikes were confiscated.
The department emphasized its ongoing zero-tolerance policy toward illegal street riding, reiterating its warning to residents: “Use it, lose it.” Police have previously cautioned that minibikes, dirt bikes, and ATVs are not permitted for street use under city ordinances, citing safety risks to both riders and pedestrians…
