ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – St. Louis County leaders are trying to fight their way out of an $82 million budget hole, and they are at odds over how to do it.
While some believe using Rams settlement money is a short-term path to solving the longtime problem, others on the council say cuts across the board make more sense for the long-term health of the county. Those cuts could include the police and health department, as well as the prosecuting attorney’s office.
