ST. LOUIS – People’s Community Action Corporation is stepping in to help families and individuals facing food insecurity and financial strain caused by delays in SNAP benefits.
The organization will hold several outreach events to distribute fresh groceries and household supplies. A holiday drive-thru and turkey distribution is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 21, from 5 to 7 p.m. at People’s Health Centers, 11641 West Florissant Ave. in Florissant.
More than 300 turkeys will be handed out, along with food, household essentials and information on SNAP support…
