Local tradeswomen confront workplace violence after on-the-job murder of female Minnesota apprentice

The murder of Minnesota tradeswoman Amber Czech while on the job is sending shockwaves through the building trades and construction communities.

Czech, 20, was killed at work Nov. 11 by her coworker, 40-year-old David Delong.

Delong struck Czech multiple times with a sledgehammer inside Advanced Process Technologies in Cokato, Minn. He told investigators he didn’t like her and that he had been planning to kill her for some time, according to court documents…
