ST. LOUIS – A winter storm weather advisory has been issued for Saturday in St. Louis and areas north, with significant snowfall expected to hit the area.
The snow is expected to start early Saturday morning around 3 a.m., moving east and affecting metro St. Louis and surrounding areas. Between 2 to 4 inches of snow are expected to accumulate in metro St. Louis, mainly on grassy surfaces. Areas north such as Jerseyville, Carlinville, and Louisiana, could see over 4 inches.
