ST. LOUIS – With Monday’s winter storm impacting commuters in the St. Louis region, the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD) says it is working nonstop to keep residents safe.
According to Mitch McCoy, SLMPD spokesperson, officers have responded to over 450 calls for service on Monday, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
SLMPD’s data as of today reports the number of assistance in the St. Louis area:
- 111 Accident Calls
- 10 Injury Calls
- 0 Fatal Accident Calls
- 38 Assist Motorist Calls
- 415 Total Calls for Service
Although there have been no reports of vehicle fatalities in the St. Louis area, SLMPD is urging residents to stay home and avoid driving, if possible…
