Asst. WashU professor sentenced for embezzling $412K from School of Medicine

ST. LOUIS – A former assistant professor at the Washington University School of Medicine appeared in federal court Thursday to be sentenced for fraudulently ordering computer equipment and reselling it for a personal profit.

Prosecutors with the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Eastern District of Missouri said Gary Grajales-Reyes embezzled hundreds of thousands of dollars from his employer.
