A tragic incident occurred on the evening of November 26 when a 58-year-old man was struck by a vehicle in Benton Park, resulting in fatal injuries. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department reports that District 3 officers responded to a call at approximately 10:50 pm on the 2700 block of Gravois.
Upon arriving at the scene, the man was found injured and emergency medical services promptly transported him to the hospital. Despite their efforts, the victim was pronounced dead upon arrival. The SLMPD confirmed these details in a recent update, noting that the driver involved in the accident remained on the scene and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
