St. Louis, MO – Police say a month-long firearms investigation in north St. Louis has led to the recovery of more than two dozen weapons and the arrest of a 27-year-old convicted felon now being held in federal custody.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, District 6 officers opened the investigation last month after identifying a convicted felon believed to be in possession of multiple firearms. During the operation, officers seized 27 guns, including three allegedly fitted with conversion devices that made them capable of firing fully automatic.
