Former St. Louis alderwoman to repay $46,000 in ethics fines

ST. LOUIS — Former St. Louis Alderwoman Christine Ingrassia has agreed to repay nearly $46,000 in long-standing fines to the Missouri Ethics Commission under a consent judgment approved earlier this month in St. Louis Circuit Court.

The order, signed Dec. 3 by Circuit Judge Rochelle M. Woodiest, settles years of unpaid ethics penalties that accumulated while Ingrassia served on the Board of Aldermen.

According to court records, investigators accused Ingrassia of misusing campaign donations, depositing contributions into a personal account and missing or failing to file required finance reports.
