ST. LOUIS — Room at the Inn, a longtime cornerstone of support for unhoused families in the St. Louis metro area, has completed a full renovation of its facility, marking a significant milestone in the organization’s more than 30 years of service. Finished in November 2025, the renovation dramatically expands capacity and enhances the range of services available to families experiencing homelessness.
The newly redesigned space allows Room at the Inn to increase client capacity by 75 percent, while also shifting to individual sleeping rooms for each client family—an important change that promotes dignity, privacy, and stability during an already challenging time.
In addition to expanded shelter capacity, the renovation created purpose-built spaces that strengthen Room at the Inn’s supportive services model.
