ST. LOUIS – A settlement has been reached in a lawsuit between St. Louis Sheriff Alfred Montgomery and St. Louis Jail Commissioner Tammy Ross.
In March, Ross filed a lawsuit that accused Montgomery of false arrest/imprisonment, battery and a violation of civil rights. The lawsuit alleged that Ross was handcuffed after blocking sheriff’s office access to an inmate who had alleged rape by a sheriff’s deputy.
