In a brief chase that ended with a crash into a telephone pole, St. Louis Metropolitan Police apprehended two individuals connected to a carjacking incident. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD) took to social media to detail the events that unfolded last Friday, when District 1 officers identified a vehicle reported as carjacked earlier that day. A pursuit ensued, culminating in the 500 block of Bates, where the suspects’ vehicle collided with the pole, and both the driver and passenger fled by foot but were soon captured.
