ST. LOUIS – At the North St. Louis YMCA, the holiday spirit was in full swing as lines stretched out the door Saturday afternoon for the annual STL Christmas Extravaganza, an event that served more than 2,000 families just days ahead of Christmas.
Real Christmas trees, toys, groceries, clothing, and games filled the space as families moved station to station, selecting items to help make the holiday season brighter.
