Ferguson Police go door-to-door at Arbor Village apartments to address concerns

FERGUSON, Mo. (First Alert 4) – Ferguson Police, city officials and council members walked through Arbor Village Apartments Monday night to address resident concerns. Officials said it was following two shots-fired calls last week and neglect at the complex.

The effort focused on being visible and connecting with residents after one person was injured in one of the shooting incidents. Police Chief Troy Doyle said the problems extend beyond the recent violence.

“Last week, we had a call for shots fired. When my officers arrived, they ended up arresting an individual who was responsible for that. Four guns were recovered in that incident, and warrants are still pending with that person,” said Chief Doyle. “When we start looking at calls for service at this particular apartment complex, since January 1st of this year, the present day, we have answered over 300-something calls for service in this particular apartment complex, which is disturbing.”…
