65-year-old shoots HVAC workers outside neighbor’s home: Police

ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis man is in custody for firing upon a group of heating and cooling employees who were working on a neighbor’s property.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department’s probable cause statement, the shooting happened on Dec. 19 in the 5800 block of Etzel Avenue, located in the city’s West End neighborhood.

Four employees of a heating and cooling company were working in the basement of a home when a man, identified as Amon Aziz, entered the basement and began harassing the workers. Aziz, 65, said someone had parked in his driveway and began threatening the workers…
