ST. LOUIS – An elderly woman is dead, and a suspect is now in custody after an hours-long standoff; the question now is, what’s the connection in the case?
According to Vera Clay, a spokeswoman for the St. Louis County Police Department, officers were dispatched to a home in the 8500 block of Jenny Drive just before 11 a.m. for a reported accidental injury.
Officers found an 81-year-old woman suffering from stab wounds inside the residence. She was pronounced dead at the scene, Clay said. The woman’s name has not been released…
