Trio accused of stealing copper wire from vacant St. Louis school

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – Three people are charged with burglary after being accused of stealing copper wire from a vacant school in St. Louis.

According to police, officers were called to the vacant Northwest High School on Monday for a reported burglary. When officers arrived at 5140 Riverview, a vacant property enclosed by a fence with multiple “no trespassing” signs, a security team informed them that three people with large amounts of copper wire had been stopped after the building’s alarm system was activated…
