CLAYTON, Mo. (First Alert 4) – Taxpayers faced hours-long waits at St. Louis County government buildings Monday as residents rushed to pay property taxes before Wednesday’s deadline.
The county’s virtual waiting system reached its 160-person capacity, forcing workers to temporarily turn away taxpayers at the Clayton government building.
