ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – Terry Bartels has been homeless for more than a year and knows the dangers of extreme cold.
“It’s bad when you don’t have enough clothes or something, covers, it just goes right through your body the cold,” Bartels said, describing the chill that forced him indoors Sunday night.
“There’s something about the cold when it’s so cold and your limbs can freeze and the fingers and get frostbite, it’s dangerous.”…
