ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – Mackenzie Bliss’ worst fear became a reality Monday afternoon when the house next door to her on Fassen Street went up in flames.
“I kind of expected that house to go but I hoped it wouldn’t,”she said. “Flames were shooting out of their back porch and back windows and stuff and so I’m thinking, ‘okay, I guess we have to get everyone out of the house’.”
The fire damaged Bliss’ home, leaving burn marks on the side of her house and damaging the roof and gutter after flames spread from the property next door…
