Man struck, killed in overnight crash on I-70 in north St. Louis

ST. LOUIS — A man was killed overnight Friday after being struck by a vehicle on Interstate 70 in north St. Louis.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD), the crash happened around 12:30 a.m. on eastbound I-70, east of Union Boulevard. The crash involved a Kia Niro.

When first responders arrived on the scene, they found a man unconscious and not breathing after the crash. The man was later pronounced dead on the scene.
