Family ‘shattered’ as duck boat charges are dismissed

ST. LOUIS – Felony charges connected to the 2018 sinking of a duck boat that killed 17 people have been dismissed, a decision that family members of the victims say has left them devastated.

Bill Asher and his girlfriend, Rose Heupel Hamann, were among those who died aboard Stretch Duck 7 when it sank during rough weather conditions on Table Rock Lake in 2018.
