ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Ethics Commission handed down nearly $50,000 in fines to former St. Louis Alderman Brandon Bosley for campaign finance violations.
Bosley served as Ward 3 alderman from 2017 to 2023. He was defeated in his run for Ward 14 alderman when the board was cut in half from 28 to 14 members.
Ethics officials said Bosley failed to terminate his 2023 election committee within a period following the general election, used campaign money to pay a bill to home security company ADT, failed to report cash expenditures to campaign workers, did not accurately report beginning and ending money on hand for multiple campaigns, failed to file 15 campaign finance disclosure in a timely manner, and also failed to report expenditures in a timely and accurate manner.
