KIRKWOOD, Mo. – It’s an inspiring story of perseverance. A colleague at our sister station in Kansas City traveled to St. Louis this past weekend to compete in a beauty pageant that raises money for a great cause. And for FOX 4 News anchorwoman Kirsten Stokes, that cause is close to her heart.
The 25-year-old has charisma and charm that allows her to light up any room she enters. It’s no wonder she became a news anchor and eventually the title of Miss Greater Kansas City Volunteer and found herself at the Miss Missouri Volunteer Scholarship Pageant at the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center.
