ST. LOUIS — Schnuck Markets will stop its mailed weekly grocery ads, effective Jan. 28.
The grocery chain announced the change in the mailed ad for Jan. 2-6. The ads usually covered a period from Wednesday through the following Tuesday.
“With the consumer shift towards more digital forms of communication, Schnucks has decided to discontinue the mailing of our printed weekly ad,” Cristina Preston, Schnucks’ director of digital marketing, said Monday in an emailed statement. “We want to emphasize that this change does not affect our commitment to offering great sales and value to our customers.”…
