Man injured in overnight shooting in south St. Louis

ST. LOUIS — Police are investigating after a person was injured in a overnight shooting early Wednesday morning in south St. Louis.

The shooting occurred around 12:30 a.m. on the 3700 block of South Grand Boulevard, near Winnebago Street, in the city’s Gravois Park neighborhood.

According to police, a 30-year-old man was shot in the chest. The condition of the victim is not expected to be life-threatening.
