Raja remains at St. Louis Zoo for now

ST. LOUIS — Raja, the beloved Asian elephant who captured hearts for decades at the Saint Louis Zoo, isn’t leaving town just yet.

More than two years ago, the zoo announced Raja would eventually relocate to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium in Ohio. The move is part of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums’ Asian Elephant Species Survival Plan.
