CARLINVILLE — A Bunker Hill man remains in custody awaiting trial for the murder of another man last January.
Jerald Stilts, of the 4600 block of Shipman Cutoff Road, was charged Jan. 27, 2025, in the shooting death of Charles Joseph Parrino Jr., 45, of St. Louis.
Parrino worked as a bartender at Soulard Bastille, a gay bar in the Soulard neighborhood of St. Louis, and was described by a co-worker as “an awesome guy.” According to the co-worker, Parrino was ending a relationship with Stilts when the incident occurred…
