BELLEVILLE, Ill. – Instead of throwing old paint in the trash like many people do, Belleville resident Mike Duffy is choosing a more environmentally friendly option offered to those in the state of Illinois.
This is the second time Duffy has brought old paint to ACE Hardware, and he said he plans to bring at least one more batch to be recycled.
“I’ve been trying for years,” Duffy said. “I’ve looked at this pile of paints and stains I have.”…
