ST. LOUIS – It was a special day for a St. Louis staple Friday as Andy Karandzieff, the owner of Crown Candy Kitchen, was awarded Restauranteur of the Year by the St. Louis chapter of the Missouri Restaurant Association.
FOX 2 was the only outlet on-hand for the surprise presentation. Karandzieff is well-known in the local restaurant industry for his tireless work advocating for people to ‘shop local’ and support small businesses. Karandzieff said the award is the result of generations of hard work.
