Travel remains ill-advised as snow covers roads, reduces visibility

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – Roads in the St. Louis Metro became slick Saturday as a brief band of snow blew through the area.

The National Weather Service reported that the roadways around St. Louis were becoming slick as a small snow system made its way through the area.

If you are planning to travel around the St. Louis Metro area this morning, be advised that a small pocket of heavier snowfall will impact the city through the next 30 minutes or so. Visibility will be restricted with slide off being reported. As you go, take it slow! #stlwx
