Proud to Serve: Firefighter, Joshua Boehme, of St. Louis, MO, receives $500 for his service to the community

ST. LOUIS – Each month on FOX 2, we salute local first responders, military, or veterans with our Proud to Serve award.  This month, we shine the spotlight on Joshua Boehme who serves his community of St. Louis, MO as a firefighter and Chief of the Jefferson County Homeland Security Emergency Response Team as well as a member of the Missouri Task Force One.

Joshua was nominated by his mom who tells us

This is a caring, helpful, and always been dedicated to “Be Prepared “do his best, Do a Good Turn Daily, to be Trustworthy. From a very young age he was always trying to help. He had perfect attendance through 13 years of school. Became an Eagle Scout and was elected in to the Order of the Arrow. He went to college and received his bachelor’s degree.
