ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – An officer’s call for assistance with a missing persons case then turned into a death investigation in the Central West End neighborhood early Wednesday.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department said it received a call around 1 a.m. Wednesday from the University City Police Department for help regarding a missing persons case.
Officers were called to the 4200 block of Olive Street, where the phone of the man at the center of the missing person case was pinged. Upon arrival, officers found the man with a puncture wound to the torso. He was pronounced dead at the scene…
