FLORISSANT, Mo. – At Mann Meats in Florissant, an operational bus-turned-food truck resides as a sign for the business, stationed beside their parking lot.
On the evening of Jan. 21, a vehicle crashed into that bus.
“‘We’re at your restaurant right now,” said Bob Mannecke, owner of Mann Meats, recalling the phone call he received from the Florissant Police Department. “‘Notifying you that your bus was hit by a car that was fleeing from the Hazelwood Police Department.’ And I’m like, ‘Are you kidding me?’”…
