ST. LOUIS – In a recent FOX 2 Facebook post, we asked a simple question: “What is your favorite St. Louis sandwich spot?” and it’s safe to say there were some strong opinions.
More than 500 comments came in, with viewers passionately defending their longtime deli favorites, neighborhood spots, and a few homemade classics. Some names came up more than others, showing some clear favorites in the area.
Just a few days ago, Michelin Guide inspectors released a list of what they consider the seven best sandwiches in North America. St. Louis didn’t make the cut despite the city’s strong connection to its sandwiches, but that didn’t stop people from choosing which ones they think are the best.
