FERGUSON, Mo – What was supposed to be a final goodbye ended in fear and confusion, as multiple people were hospitalized following a shooting at a Ferguson mortuary during a funeral.
According to Patricia A. Washington, a spokeswoman for the Ferguson Police Department, the shooting happened Wednesday at Cotton Branch Mortuary in the 100 block of North Florissant Road, just south of Hereford Avenue.
Witnesses contacted FOX 2 just after 12 p.m. to report police gathered outside the mortuary. Funeral services were being held for an 18-year-old. That person’s cause of death was not disclosed…
